YOUTH CULINARY WORKSHOP

Plated Up Catering Foundation’s Youth Culinary Workshop empowers young people ages 6 to 18 through hands-on cooking experiences that build confidence, teamwork, and essential life skills. Serving communities throughout Indianapolis, our engaging program teaches culinary techniques, kitchen safety, and nutrition, while also emphasizing communication, problem-solving, and collaboration. Together, we’re inspiring the next generation of chefs and leaders—one meal at a time.

Get Involved
At Plate Up Catering Foundation, we believe it takes a village to nurture the next generation of confident, creative young chefs. Whether you have time to volunteer, resources to share, or a passion for supporting youth, there are many ways to get involved.
Join our team and make a difference in the lives of young people ages 6 to 18. Volunteer roles include:

Workshop Assistants: Help set up and guide students through hands-on culinary activities.

Mentors: Share your expertise in cooking, nutrition, or life skills.

Event Support: Assist with community events, fundraisers, and special programs.
